Law360 (August 9, 2019, 3:12 PM EDT) — The automaker behind the Humvee is urging a federal court to reject claims that “the world will end” if the company wins its trademark lawsuit against Activision Blizzard over the appearance of the famous truck in “Call of Duty” video games.

The Thursday filing from AM General came in response to an amicus brief filed last month by law professors from Harvard and other elite schools that said the automaker was seeking a “monopoly over reality” by suing over the truck’s appearance in the best-selling game.
