Update: Ubisoft has now tweeted the Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Shifting Tides teaser (again), this time from its English-language account. Take a look below. Original story follows.
Ubisoft has finally confirmed the name of Rainbow Six Siege‘s new expansion. Year Four, Season Four is named Shifting Tides.
It’s the first time Ubisoft has publicly confirmed the new season’s name. The teaser video, which was posted from Rainbow Six Siege’s Arabic Twitter account, has now been deleted, so it appears it was posted by mistake. The video showed the season’s logo, along with some waves crashing against some sort of man-made structure.
Operation Shifting Tides will include two new characters, one Indian and one Kenyan. We’ll also get to play a reworked version of Theme Park.
More details on the DLC are expected at the Rainbow Six Pro League Season X Finals at Aichi Sky Expo, with the full reveal likely taking place on November 9, 2019.
If we follow the release schedule of recent seasons, the Rainbow Six Siege Shifting Tides release date is December 2, 2019 – the update will likely hit test servers and remain there for three weeks before Year 4 Pass holder are able to play the new ops in ranked.
In other news on the Tom Clancy shooter, it recently emerged that Attack on Titan, Mario, and torture documentaries contributed to the creation of Rainbow Six Siege’s cast.
